PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Numberlys Pilot was part of Amazon Prime’s Pick Your Pilot Project! The summary: In a concrete and metal city, five best friends discover something they've never seen before - a tiny sprout. Though they don't know what it is, they decide to protect this unique little thing - which isn't easy. Through invention, stumbles and bumbles they help the sprout become a beautiful tree, making a lasting, joyful change in their world.

PROJECT OVERVIEW: Taking Flight is a short film inspired by the life and heritage of Antonio Pasin, inventor of the Radio Flyer wagon.In this fictional tribute to Pasin’s legacy, what begins as a small boy’s over-scheduled, over supervised, boring day with Grandpa turns into a larger-than-life journey, narrowly escaping wild monkeys and battling aliens to save the universe.Through the power of imagination and epic adventure, a boy learns to be a kid, a father learns to be a dad, and a grandfather reminds us all what childhood is about.

THE SCARECROW (2013)

PROJECT OVERVIEW: Chipotle's "The Scarecrow" set out to expose the façades created by the Industrial food makers in the world, and to also bring the hardships of the independent farmers to light. I started working on the animatic for 'The Scarecrow' in Spring 2012. I maintained the edit during the entire project and the film was completed in Autumn 2013. During production The Duotone Audio Group/CAA selected the track "Pure Imagination." On top of maintaining the edit, the other exciting challenge on 'The Scarecrow' was re-arranging the original version of "Pure Imagination" to better suit the Scarecrow's story. "Pure Imagination" was performed by Grammy Award®--winning artist Fiona Apple, and is available for download on iTunes.

THE NUMBERLEYS (2013)

PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Numberlys was a story first released as an app for iOS in January 2012. The app was a film/game hybrid where you follow '5' main characters and help them change their bleak world through a series of interactive games. In October 2011 I started collecting storyboards and building the app animatic. My Task was to treat all the cinematic aspects of the app just like any other film (a film that was 768x1152 to boot). The Numberlys app went on to win a Webby Award for best story app in 2012. In spring 2013, a year before the book's release, production began The Numberlys short film. The film premiered with a live musical performance by the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra in October 2013. The short film was selected by over 30 film festival's and being placed on the Academy Award Shortlist in 2014.

SILENT : AN ADVENTURE INTO PICTURE & SOUND (2014)

PROJECT OVERVIEW: After working closely with many talented individuals and companies in the film industry for so many years, Dolby Laboratories got the itch to make a short film of their own. Enter: SILENT. Morris Lessmore, the silent-hero of 2011′s Oscar-winning animated short The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore makes his return in this short. In the short Morris represents 'Picture' and his partner, a little girl, represents 'Sound.' Together the two work their way through decades of cinema to find out what it takes to get in sync. SILENT debuted at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science's Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony on February 15, 2014.

I AM A WITNESS (2015)

PROJECT OVERVIEW: This 11-Minute adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's poem was produced in collaboration with Amplify. Created for the 7th grade curriculum in classrooms across the United States. The short was narrated by the Tony Award Winner - Jefferson Mayes. The Raven, received an Annie Award Nomination in 2014 for Best Animated Short Film.
